How To Find Us

We are situated approximately 8 miles north of Bath along the Fosse Way (one of the main Roman roads that runs from Exeter to Leicester), in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside.

By Car

From the North

Take the M5 motorway to the junction with the M4 motorway and take the M4 Eastbound towards London. Exit the M4 at Junction 18 taking the A46 Bath exit. Continue along the A46 for approximately 5 miles to the A46/A420 roundabout. Take the first exit sign-posted to Chippenham and continue along the A420 for approximately 5 miles until you get to The Shoe. Just after the sign for The Shoe there is a cross-roads sign-posted Colerne/North Wraxall with a garage on the right hand corner, turn right towards Colerne, you are now on the Fosse Way. Continue carefully along the Fosse Way as it is quite narrow in places. Go past Colerne airfield, that is on your left, to the end of the road where it joins the Colerne road. There is a large house called Hunter's Hall on your right. Turn right heading towards Bath, you will be able to see Fosseway Fruits on your left. Take the next turning on your left and after 100yds turn left into our field.

As an alternative route you could come down via the A46 to the A46/M4 Junction 18 and continue as above.

From the West

Take the M4 Motorway to Junction 17 Chippenham and take the second exit A350 to Chippenham. Follow the road to the main roundabout with a service station on your right and Safeway in front. Take the second exit still on the A350 and continue along the road, straight over the first mini roundabout to the main A350/A420 roundabout. Take the third exit A420 to Bristol and continue along this road approximately 7 miles to Ford. At Ford turn left into a single track road sign-posted to Colerne. Continue along this road for approximately 4 miles, past Colerne Village with Colerne airfield on your right. At the end of the airfield boundary, the road will turn sharp left, a large house called Hunter's Hall will be directly in front of you and Fosseway Fruits will be on your left. Take the next turning on your left and 100yds on turn left into our field.

As an alternative route you could travel from the North to pick up the M4 and continue as above.

From the South/Bath

Bath can be reached using the major routes from the south along the A36, or to Chippenham along the A350. You can also come via the M5 to Bristol and then M4 as detailed above form the North.

From Bath, take the A4 east bound towards Chippenham and London. At the A46/A4 interchange carry straight over the roundabout continuing along the 'old' A4. Approximately 3 miles form the interchange you will come to a parade of shops followed by a mini roundabout, take the third exit, Bannerdown, up the hill sign-posted Colerne, you are now on the Fosse Way. Continue up the hill for 3 miles, take the first turning on your right and after 100yds turn left into our field.

By Bus From Bath

There is only one bus servicing Colerne from Bath, the First Bus service 228. This runs from the Bath Bus Station, Bay 3 every 2 hours or so. There is a stop right outside our field called Hunter's Hall. There is no service on Sundays or on public holidays. Contact First Bus in Bath for timetables and further information on 08456 064446.
